Gladiator NXT + THQ axis configuration
Hi
In the new "VKB Device Firmware (v2.08.5 XT)" the two left axis of the GNX THQ do not work as an axis, but like sliders, in the previous firmware v2.08.0.3 they work fine.
Right now I set Gladiator NXT + THQ to default, restarted and reflash, and nothing.
I request "Gladiator NXT Firmware v2.08.0.3" if possible.

Re: Gladiator NXT + THQ
There's no such thing as axis vs slider. There are axes and there are names for those axes to get HID recognized. The name or number in the native software of an axis won't affect its behavior in any way.
Re: Gladiator NXT + THQ axis configuration
Well, the problem is when I turn Up and Down the axes, the values won't fix on 0 and 65535, but reset and turn like a wheel.
The right axle above the A4 button won't work like that, I made a video.

Re: Gladiator NXT + THQ axis configuration
Your device has not been calibrated; once properly calibrated your issue will disappear.
Re: Gladiator NXT + THQ axis configuration
I did the following:
1 - In the "Tools" click in "Dafault";
2 - In the "Tools" "External" tab click in "FIND & SHOW";
3 - In the "Tools" click in "Start Calibr", confirm it's ok then click in "End Calibr".
I do this all the time after a firmware update.
Once again I insist the request of "Gladiator NXT Firmware v2.08.0.3", otherwise I will have to wait for a new firmware fix (I try the new v.2.086, same thing).

Re: Gladiator NXT + THQ axis configuration
YOUR DEVICE IS NOT FULLY CALIBRATED!!! Only the Gladiator is calibrated, you need to include all other modules in calibration.
Flashing an older firmware WON'T FIX YOUR CALIBRATION ISSUE!!!

Re: Gladiator NXT + THQ axis configuration
Yes, older firmware fix this, I have tested both, but unfortunately they remove the old version from the site.
But thanks for nothing, unit return and refund requested, third and last product from this brand.
Too many problems and very poor support

Re: Gladiator NXT + THQ axis configuration
There's no problem with the device, the problem is with its user when they don't follow technical advice. You don't need support. You need help.
Re: Gladiator NXT + THQ axis configuration
Help, what help? The one that was not granted?
I already said, I calibrated everything I know, and the result is the same.
Where is the tutorial/examples for the calibration of other modules?

Re: Gladiator NXT + THQ axis configuration
Look man, you asked for that firmware 3 times. Why do you think I didn't attached it here from the first time? Because I don't know how to attach a file? Because I'm evil and don't want to share the good stuff? Because I'm alone or bored and want to get some company? No, I didn't attached it because it wouldn't solve your issue. From your charts I could tell the Gladiator is calibrated, but your THQ is not.
Also, I noticed you know where to look after beta firmware. Why do you think the firmware you were asking for 3 TIMES it's not there? Could that be because that firmware was flawed and deleted from archives and maybe this is another reason I didn't provided it to you?
All the new firmware that shows up contains EVERYTING that was included in previous firmware versions, PLUS bug fixes and new features. There is no reason ever to flash back to an older firmware. If there's something wrong with some current firmware it will get fixed with a new version, not patched by bringing back the older version.
TLDR calibrate both Gladiator and THQ. Firmware you're looking for has been thrashed and wouldn't help you anyway.

Re: Gladiator NXT + THQ axis configuration
Lots of words, but little or no interest.
I haven't seen a tutorial, image or help from you to fix this.

Re: Gladiator NXT + THQ axis configuration
Yeah, that's why I put a TLDR. But if image and sound is easier for you, here you go. And here, another one. Both with timestamps to reset to default, followed by Find&AutoConfig and CALIBRATION.
Re: Gladiator NXT + THQ axis configuration
I already knew these videos, they help zero, because I've done it all.
The firmware (v.2.085 and 2.086) has buggy, he have problems to detect the hardware configuration correctly.
I solved the problem with trial and error, and solution is to check this two boxes.
