I just got my add on GNX-THQ and installed it onto my Gladiator NXT Premium left stick. I updated the firmware and it found the new throttle, but the joystick is already full of 8 axes without having the third axis on the THQ showing up anywhere in the software. What am I doing wrong?

In Test/Axes1 tab, just above the cursors, there's a pull down menu. You're on the first device, when calibrating select the second device from there. Basically, you'll get a second virtual controller with just 1 axis.

Attached is a screenshot of what my test/axes 1 tab looks like, there is no drop down menu.

Please follow these steps, you'll need to update the software and flash new firmware.

I figured it out, my software was old. With the newest versions it is recognizing everything it should, but now if i try to calibrate either of my gladiators, as soon as the calibration is finished, the sticks stop showing the gnx modules.

What modules do you have? How are they connected? Are you sure you begin calibration with Start Calibr and finish it with End Calibr (not Cancel Calibr)?

I have a Gladiator NXT Premium Left with the Thq attached to the left side. It's wierd because whenever I hit default, the software shows 2 controllers and all the axes now. But as soon as I try to calibrate through the software, the second axes disappears and the joystick quits responding in the software.

It's all working now, I hadn't done the find and auto config on that stick/thq setup. It was finding it anyway and without the auto config, i think the calibration was failing somehow. Thanks for all the help.

Is there a way to get the third THQ axis onto one device and replace one of the two unused axis of the NXT?

What do you mean? Gladiator NXT has 6 axes and the THQ 3; if you combine them you'll get 2 virtual controllers, first with 8 axes and second with 1. Are you asking if you could swap the axis from the second controller with one from the first controller?
