Hi not sure if there is anything I can do but I just got my MK IV T rudder today and I plugged them in to the base of the gladiator and went into vkbdev and it wasn't found and the red light is now gone on the base.
I opened it up and and took a photo of the board... it smells like burning electronics. Am I screwed... is the rudder fried too ?

Re: Gladiator K Dead
Hi Ron,
Thank you for the response. I plugged the pedals into the black box and it shows up on the VKB Config!! I calibrated it and it looks to work so that's a relief. Crummy deal about the Stick .... guess ill have to upgrade to the MCG Ultimate haha I did open a support ticket because when I order the stick I am going to need the gunfighter mounting plate for the stronghold mount as I have the Gladiator Version.

No it doesn't show up in the config anymore, light doesn't come on. I tried different USB ports too.

Get USBDeview (https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html) and see if when you plug in the K it shows up as an unrecognized device. If so then uninstall all the similar entries and reconnect. If that doesn't cut it then try:
a. re-seating the grip - I kept getting odd connection behaviour and I think it was all down to dirty contacts between the base and the grip (also if you pick it up to move it around make sure you never do it by the grip)
b. enter calibration mode (hold eject and the flaps I think while it starts up)
c. resetting the device (there's instructions of how to do it by shorting two points on the board IIRC)
