I've recently been getting a lot of disconnects when I pull my joystick to the ends of the axis. I removed the grip, and I noticed small notches on the contacts of the base stem where the pins are contacting that I think are causing the problem. I tried cleaning the contacts with alcohol, still had disconnections. I monitored the communication error level of the base with and without the grip, with the grip i get errors but without the grip i get none when i push the base stem to the ends. I then tried mounting the grip angled left to get the pins away from the notches, no disconnection issues after doing that. I've only had the joystick for a bit over a month so I'm surprised the pins could be wearing into the contacts like that. Is there a way to fix this issue? Or is there another root cause?
