My SCGs this week just started acting up and no longer recognizes any input from the stick and only inputs from the gimbal itself on the Gunfighter MK3. Any button presses, or Z axis twists do not work but X and Y do.

Trouble Shooting Attempted
1. Reseat connection
2. Clean connection with isopropyl alcohol & lint free cloth
3. Check the circuit board connection to the USB inside of the Gunfighter MK3 base
4. Recalibrate
5. Try hooking up a different blackbox from my left stick.
6. Reflash the device (with newest and previously installed)

Whenever I click a button, or look in the Test - > external devices it shows the grips as red and nothing is being input. Everything to me indicates that either the seated mount on top of the Gunfighter MK3 base is bad, or the grips are bad. Any insights?

So you have 2 of them, L and R SCG on MKIII bases? Have you tried to switch bases?

I just finished swapping the two grips and when I put the Right stick (non working pair) on the left Gunfighter Mk 3 base it works. When I put the left grip (working pair) on the right Gunfighter Mk3 base it does NOT work. So I am guessing there is something wrong with the right base... anything I can do for troubleshooting?

After opening up the Gunfighter Mk3 base.. I have found that one of the wires was severed going from the DB4 pin that heads to the blackbox. Where can i get a replacement cable for this?

I am able willing to purchase from an online vendor that ships to the US.

I was actually asking about the local VKB vendor, sorry if it wasn't clear. Being in NA means the head office in China's shipping the parts and there are some national holidays these days over there, so it might take longer than usual. Meanwhile, you could try to have that cable replaced at a computer repair shop, if there's any in your area.

I thought the cable would be a commercial off the shelf solution as it appears to be something that you would regularly plug into a circuit board / motherboard.

Sorry man, it's custom made for the VKB base only. But again, someone with soldering skills could easily replace that damaged wire.
