Gladiator MK.I Not Recognized by Windows 10

Greetings,

My Gladiator Mk.I is no longer being detected by Windows 10. It is showing up in Device Manager as Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) and is not being detected by any of the VKB software. I have tried the joystick on multiple computers and in different USB ports, none of them are registering the device. In addition, the lights on the joystick base no longer light up. I have attempted the “non-software” calibration and the hard reset on the stick and nothing has made any effect.
Please help me get this joystick working again as it is my favorite.

Thanks,

It looks like a problem with the connection to the USB port. And the first thing to check is the USB cable itself. If there is a tester, then you need to ring it for the presence of contact of all conductors.

I used a volt meter to check the continuity on all the wires and leads in the USB, and they all appear to be working. The following is how they appear to be wired.

USB A Plug - Port Wires
Outer shell - black (thick)
Pin 1 (right most) - red
Pin 2 (right center) - white
Pin 3 (left center) - green
Pin 4 (left most) - black (thin)

What else can I check or do next?

Thanks

Once there is a tool, you can find out what stresses are between the points in the picture:
1-2 =
1-3 =
1-4 =
1-5 =

When will this tool be available? I'm currently unable to use my joystick and would like to get back to playing. Are there any replacement PCB's available that I can purchase for this?

English is not my native language, maybe that's how Google translate it.
I wrote that since you have a multimeter, then take measurements of the voltages at the indicated points.
This will allow you to make the right subsequent decision.

The voltage readings are as follows:

1-2 = 5.03
1-3 = 4.96 on right side, left side of 1R0 = 5.03
1-4 = 3.34 on right side of C1, left side = 0
1-5 = 3.3 on both sides

4 pins on left side = top left & right = 0, bottom left & right = 0.2

There are several things to do before making the right decision:
1.disconnect the USB cable from the controller and carefully ring out all the wires in it for integrity and absence of a short circuit with the adjacent wire
2.if the cable is intact, then we connect it to the controller, but disconnect the cable from the sensors, buttons and grip - see the result in the configurator
3.If there is no result, then by launching the configurator, disconnect the USB cable from the computer, close two Boot pins with tweezers (paperclip), and (without removing the jumper) connect the cable to USB, then open the Boot pins - see the result in the configurator
It is advisable to show screenshots from the configurator for points 2 and 3. You can upload a photo of the controller itself.

Here are the next set of results:

1. No presence of any short or crosstalk with the connections in the USB cable. This tested good.

2. The configurator (I assume the VKBDevCfg app, but I tested it on all of them) shows no signs of any change with or without the sensors plugged into the main PCB. Still not displaying any information at all.

3. Attempting the hard reset also shows no sign of any change.

Screenshots for both steps were exactly the same, so I'm only posting one set of screenshots.

The controller photo isn't able to load to the website. It is in .jpg format and 0.99 MB. Is there a size limit or file format that will work better with this website?
