Gunfighter MKIII Moving the stick feels 'scratchy'

Just got my stick and base from the mail and while setting up I noticed that the stick does not feel smooth when moving the stick left and right. Up and down feels nice and smooth. You can also hear something in the base making a scrathing sound when moving the stick left and right. The problem is on the center of the stick.
I have tighten the dampner screws and added stiffer springs on the stick, but the noise was there before those changes.
Is there something i can do about this problem?

I have recorded a video of me moving the stick. On this video the 'scratching' sound can be heard.

Except of the loud bangs (which are hope they're coming from somewhere else and not the base) I only hear the gimbal traversing the center detent of the cams. But to make sure everything is alright inside check this video on how to adjust the GF bases. You could also post some pictures taken from directly above the cams to see if there's something out of order inside.

Okay so, I took a closer look at the cams. There is a big mark on the x-axis cam, the same axis the noise was heard.
It almost looks like the text from the bearing has been imprinted on the cam. I tried rubbing it off, but its actually pressed on the aluminium.
So the bearing rolling over that fault on the cam is what was making that 'scratchy' feeling most likely. I switched to some other cams and now the stick is smooth.
The issue is with the pre-installed avia-s cams.

Try using some alcohol or even some fine/very fine (260-300) sandpaper on that cam. Don't worry if some of the outer layer comes off, that's only chromium plating with no protective function.

The location of both bearings on the cams looks rather strange - with a significant offset to the inner side of the cam.
It is desirable that the bearing lies with its entire plane on the cam.
This can be achieved in two ways - either "lengthen" the bearing axis by placing additional spacers, or “shorten” the cam axis by removing (select a thinner) spacer between the cam and the thrust bearing. The second option is preferable.
