Please help. I just upgraded the firmware on my SCG's to v2.055. I would like to use the mini-stick as a virtual mouse when a button is pressed. I understand how to do this, but I can not stop the axis or POV reporting when the virtual mouse is active.

Observation: the 'FA' option on the global tab for Mouse does not seem to stop the mini-stick from sending the axis or POV feedback, even though the virtual mouse is on and working.

Question: how should I set up the new POV tab in the profile setup to make this work.

I stripped my profile to the default with a simple example for testing.
Default Mini-stick works as a POV
On Mini-stick press button 5 state is repeated to button 33 so that is can be tested and activate the virtual mouse. (BA 36)

My ultimate goal is to have a switch that allows me to select mini-stick Hat / Axis / or Virtual Mouse. I have gotten this to work with more complex logic. However I could not stop the axis OR POV reporting when the virtual mouse was active.

From your screenshots I can see you're basically duplicating the ministick; it's an interesting approach, but it won't double the existing functions, so you can't get 3 ministick modes (axes, POV, virtual mouse).

Thank you so much for your very fast response. I was trying to understand how to use the FA option on the global tab.

The v2.15 user guide section 2.4.11 read:

If you use physical joystick axes to control virtual mouse ones, you can control
physical axes state. If FA is checked than joystick axes control mouse only. Other
wise physical axes will control mouse and joystick axes simultaneously.

I thought that might mean that when in virtual mouse mode, the axis output would not be sent when the virtual mouse was on.

it was fun trying. I love the configuration tool, it is super powerful. I'm having fun setting my sticks up for more than sim games.

Check out the virtual mouse tutorial if you haven't already. And don't get used to the FA, Speed and Delay options, they're outdated and will be excluded from options soon
