Good Afternoon,

I recently have purchased the T Rudder Pedals around 2 weeks ago and it came with the black controller box.
Being very happy with the product I am planning to purchase the Gunfighter Mk.III ‘Modern Combat Edition’ Ultimate.

The question I have is can both share the same controller box and therefore share the same USB connection?

Thank you for your help

Yes, they definitely can, but if you'll get the MCG U with twist and use both ministicks you have to know that there's not enough room for all the axes (MCG U 8 axes + TRudders 1 axis > Windows' 8 axes limitation). In order to overcome that you'll either have to get the no-twist version, or lock the twist, or give up on one of the ministick's axes.
As you can see, there are quite a few options; if you'll have troubles after you'll get the device just update this post for future clarification.

One way to do it is to first connect your rudders to your GF's black box. Then flash that black box with MCG Ultimate with no twist. You can then calibrate the device, and you should see the rudders appearing under one of the axes.

Thank you so much for your response.

One (hopefully) last question regarding the above mentioned Windows 8 axis limit.

Is this for Windows in total or per USB controller?

Reason I am asking is that currently have the following:

1x Collective with one axis
1x T Rudder pedals

Future
1x Gunfighter Ultimate with NO twist. I also can replace one or both of the access on the MCG U with the 4 way switches.

Would this work?

The 8 axis limit (and 128 'button' bindings limit) is per USB HID (Human Interface Device, for our purposes a joystick, throttle, collective rudder pedals, button box etc is a HID).

Essentially, in this case, the HID that Windows sees is the BlackBox; so, as a HID, the BlackBox has capacity for 8 axes

The Gunfighter with an MCG Pro Ultimate mounted on it has 8 axes to 'contribute', so when plugged into the BlackBox, it takes up all of the available axis 'slots' on that BlackBox HID.

By 'removing' the twist axis on the MCG Pro Ultimate you're freeing up a 'slot' on the BlackBox HID, allowing you to plug in the T-Rudders which 'contributes' its 1 axis to the total, bring the BlackBox up to the full 8 axes again.

You can have as many HIDs as you like (well that's probably not true, there'll be some hard limit somewhere but it's large enough for us not to bother about it, we'd probably run into USB power issues long before we reached any limit to the number of HIDs Windows could handle) and thus effectively as many axes and buttons as you like, just keep adding more HIDs (some people with complex simpits have a lot of button boxes/UFC panels etc!).

Hopefully that gives you a bit of background and helps answer your question.
