Hello,
I changed out my mini stick with the hat switch on my Gladiator NXT premium today. Everything went smoothly, however I am not able to get the software to recognize that there is a hat switch instead of a mini stick. It does not register any button pushes when I push them on the test screen. It recognizes when I depress the hat switch straight down, but when I try up, down, left or right there is no input. I reset and re-flashed the stick to see if that worked and so far it did not. Is there a process I’m supposed to follow to get the hat switch recognized? Maybe I have to assign the buttons within the software? I’m not sure. Thank you.

Click the Default button under the Tools tab, then navigate to Profile/Buttons/Physical Buttons, check the Poll box on the right side and test the HAT again. Are there any cells lighting up on the chart?

Yes, the arrows light up when I click the poll box. I would like to use it as buttons and not POV. I use head tracking in dcs so I don’t need it for looking around within the sim. Thanks again.

I figured it out. After you told me to go to “profile, buttons” I figured out that by clicking on the cell you can change it from POV to button and hit Set under the “actions” tab. Now it is showing button presses on the main test page. Thank you for your help!
