Hi!
So I pressed down rather firmly on both my extension when attaching to the base, and my grip when attaching to the extension, and yet I just had a red flashing light on the BB after meer days of owning my Gunfighter MK III.
The red flashing was the extension losing connection, I took it off and my base connector is all scratched up, despite me thinking it was firmly seated in there whilst clamping it down, and making sure it was extremely tightly clamped, no wiggle etc. I even checked if it was super tight before disconnecting it to check what the red flashing was.
Before any more red flashing failure and scratching occurs, is this grip attached to my 200mm extension correctly do you folks think? I feel like this is as far down as it will go without the pins completely spiking through the contact patch.

Try to mount the grip on the base, see if it works this way. The pressure you apply on the grip while tightening the fastener has to be gentle, not resting your body on it. Also, if there are scratches on the contact pads that means the grip was moving around during use, so the fastener wasn't properly secured (either wrong position or not tightened enough).
