Gladiator NXT HAT duplicate button

Was plugging in and testing my Premium L and R NXT sticks and found the L stick A4 hat is showing to have the right and up direction both showing as Button 11 in the button tester and vkbdevcfg. I was able to compare this to my R stick and found this shouldn't be like this. I have updated the firmware on them to the latest 2.025 using the latest downloads from the site. I have tried setting them back to default and such as well to no avail. Any ideas? Took it apart and tested the buttons themselves to verify it wasnt accidentally pressing a different button but not sure what to do.

Post 2 screenshots please, one with Profile/Buttons/Physical layer and the other Profile/Buttons/Logical layer; both for you left stick.

Files attached, I assume A4 right is supposed to be button 12/28 for right but it registers as button 11/26.

Just redirect physical buttons 25, 26, 27 and 28 to logical buttons 11-14, order doesn't really matter. When done press the Set button under Action tab.

I'm not sure that is changing anything but 25-28 have been reassigned as 11-14. The physical layer when polled still shows that button 26 is what is being engaged with hat right as well as hat up.

Is there any button duplication in tester (Test/Buttons)?

Yes, both register as button 12, but there is not a number duplicate in the tester

Can I get some eyes on this? This is still a problem for me. The physical layer does not recognize A4 right on my left stick whatsoever. It shows to be A4 up every time. Physically pressing the button and updating the firmware have not helped.

Please update to the latest firmware and software, reset to default and recalibrate, then try again. Follow this guide please:
1. Download the configurator;
2. Download the bootloader;
3. Download the firmware package;
4. Unzip all the 3 files in the same folder;
5. Launch VKBDevCfg as Admin and click the Bootloader button under Tools tab;
6. Navigate to the firmware file folder and load up the file called _Gladiator_NXT_v2_05_5.vkb;
7. After the bootloader finishes launch VKBDevCfg and click the Default button under Tools tab;
8. Go to Test/Axes1 tab and click on the Start Calibr button;
9. Move your pitch, roll and yaw axes all the way, slowly at the end;
10. Move the mini-throttle up and down and the A1 ministick all the way around;
11. Press the End Calibr button.

Really not sure what else I can do here... I think this is a physical issue. Latest firmware, latest software, ONLY calibrated it, NOTHING else. New folders completely, didn't bring in any of my configs.. Added pictures, could only find a decent one of a right joystick, but it is my LEFT joystick that is having issues.

The screenshots are with a left hand NXT and pictures with a right hand grip. I will assume that you have issues with the left hand SCG A4 HAT switch up and left positions, both hitting the same button. In order to fix that you could either press the Default button and recalibrate or follow the attached picture and rebind the left A4 button to button 12.

Unplugged my Right stick. Set to default again. Checked before it even was calibrated and still registering A4 Hat Up when I press A4 Hat Right on my Left stick. Calibrated it and tried again, no dice, still B11 (A4 Hat Up). Verified the button you mention in your post is already assigned to be B12 (showing that in screenshot, while holding A4 Hat Right, which registers as B11).

I have already previously taken it apart and verified myself that pressing the physical button for A4 Hat Right was still registering B11.

You mention the L stick on the R base, are the bases different for each L/R?

PS: I do appreciate the support, I want to be sure I'm just not being a dumbass.

Have you tried to disassemble the stick and check for mechanical issues?

I have taken the stick completely apart and tested it partially assembled without the metal tilt insert to press the buttons installed. I tried the two white buttons on the PCB for up and right, they both still registered as the same button (B11) in the software when polling. I have visually inspected the PCB to see if any shorts occurred or excess solder but I don't see anything out of the ordinary. Would it be possible to get another one of that specific PCB?
