Got an mcg ultimate with gunfighter mkIII, was working fine till i tried changing stuff in the profile, was creating a macro when i clicked "set"to write to the profile, then the mcg disapeared from the vkbdefcfg tool and never came back.
When i check my device manager is says "This device cannot start. (Code 10) STATUS_DEVICE_DATA_ERROR"
under devices its now called zero controller and says driver error. There are no lights on on the blackbox either.
Any help would be appreciated.

In VKBDevCfg press the Default button, recalibrate and start over.

Thats the problem its not showing up in vkbdefcfg i cant do anything in there and the device is connected

Try change USB ports, restart your computer, restart your computer in Safe mode, use VKBDevCfg as Admin.

Did all that still doesnt show up in vkbdevcfg

When i started back up in normal windows and tried again it found the zero controller but still cant do anything in vkbdevcfg, when i press bootloader it does nothing, this is in admin mode

I changed usb ports now its gone again

Stay in Safe mode then and press Restart.

In safe mode it doesnt show up anymore, and when it showed up i already pressed restart but it didnt respond

Support via forum really takes a long time to solve a problem, is there another way i can contact someone directly to resolve this?

So i tried following the manual and it suggests in section 2.2.2 to short the boot jumper, when i do that it actually shows up in bootloader and i can flash the device, but when it restarts the device i get the same problem as before and the vkbdevcfg cant find it again.

In USBdeview it show up without showing name, if i plug in the controller with the boot jumper pressed down it actually shows up as "vkb boot njoy32 platform"
But when i plug it in without the boot jumper pressed it shows up with the port and hub number.

I have a working scg as u can see in the first screen.

When i tried flashing the device via bootloader while shorting the boot jumper with firmware for the stick intended "MCG Ultimate w twist" , it failed and the device could not be recognised afterwards.

Then i flashed it with firmware for another stick "MCG Pro w twist" again with shorting the boot jumper, after that VKBDevCfg recognised it again and i could flash it with the right firmware for the intended stick true VKBDevCfg without shorting the boot jumper.

So now the stick is working as intended. Problem resolved

You could try temporarily disconnecting all Razer devices. They can be the reason for this behavior.
