VKB-SIM

Hi All.

I am starting this new thread because the issue I had previously seems to be gone (see it here).

Now what I am seeing is that the X axis is showing other issues, especially when moved to the left. I wonder whether these are related to the ones I mentioned in the other thread above. I already followed all the tutorials I could find, opened the base to check it (no visible damage anywhere), re-calibrated multiple times, tried different dead zone parameters... I am thinking that maybe the sensor is causing it, but I'd like to request for some help here. Any help is appreciated!!

1 - Gunfighter base Mk2 + MCG Pro stick (no twist)
2 - v1_97_7 (tried v2_02_5 but it did not work on my stick/base)

Hi again! First of all please follow this guide to reflash and calibrate (at this moment you're running incompatible firmware and software). After calibration, if the issue is still there open up the base, disconnect all the white connectors and plug them back firmly and calibrate again.

Will do! I am only using the older firmware because when I flashed the new one, all my axes stopped working. So I reverted it back.

I will redo the procedure and report here. Thanks, again, fallout9!!

Check the guide - between flashing and calibration you'll have to press the Default button to reset your controller. Surely that will unblock your axes.

Indeed, my mistake, I did not press the Default button at the first time. It is working fine now.

Update: after a new disassembly, I also used a bit of compressed air to clean up the electrical connectors before re-plugging them in. Combined with the cams and springs changes I made, the joystick's been running 100% since then. I think I finally found the best configuration for my use case.
