VKB-SIM

Hello, I bought your pedals a couple of months back and am just getting to configuring them. I have to say that after 6 hours of reading manuals and looking for answers that I am frustrated beyond measure. No installation should be this difficult these days.

I am not interested in hours of setup time and this has already gotten silly. I really need someone on the phone with me to help make them work or incredibly detailed directions. That, or they go back.

Let's try here, what issues do you have with the pedals?

well, it might be that VKB puts possibilities over functionality.

Maybe VKBConfig can do everything in theory, but the usability is one of the worst i have ever seen.
I would prefer a better UI over the endless settings any day. The problem i had, could not be solved here either. Luckily i was able to find a solution myself via a different software from another developer that i have to run in addition to VKBConfig now...

I hope you find a solution. Also i think it needs these threads to get VKB to give us a better UI. The Hardware itself is very good.

You don't have to run VKBDevCfg in the background though. Calibrate, do whatever settings you need, close it and forget about it until it's time for new calibration or new firmware.
And yes, you're right, it's not easy to keep it simple with so many functions and options.
