Can't update firmware on Gladiator NXT

Config seems to work fine. I can test all the buttons, axis, etc.. on the controller just fine. However, when I open the bootloader, I get a bunch of lines "Error writing data xxxxxxx" and when I try to close the bootloader I get "Unable to write to zconfig.ini".
I've added the User=Developer under the [User] section of the ini file so I can save to it. It didn't prompt me for any admin confirmation so it should be fine. The controller seems to work. I'd just like to keep the firmware updated if at all possible

Any heal would be appreciated. Attaching screenshots of errors.

How do you open zbootloader? launch as standalone?

I tried it both with the config utility and standalone. Same result for both. Also tried running each as "administrator" but no luck.

Kill background running software like Logitec, Aorus, Razer etc. If still not working reboot in Safe mode and try again.

Safe mode worked. I had logitech and and razer synapse running but I had turned those off. Maybe they were still lurking in the background somewhere?
Thanks for the help!

So I went digging into processes that were running. Turned out to be the Alienware Command Center that was causing the issue. Couldn't kill the task or find a way to turn it off so I just uninstalled it. After that, connected just fine.
So add Alienware Command Center to the list of bad apps.

Thanks again for the help!
