How to oil a Gladiator NXT

Postby snash » Tue Apr 27, 2021 2:30

I got my NXT right when it came out, but have always had an issue with the detents when going between axis. I assumed it was just how the stick is, but after speaking with a few other people who have it, and seeing some reviews, i'm convinced that my stick was not lubed in the factory. The detents when moving between axis is extremely rough and throws off aim, even when on the default #20 springs, and becomes unusable on the stiffer #30 springs. Using the #10 springs makes the stick too floppy, which hinders accuracy.

QUESTION: Is there any how to on how to oil the stick, and which kind of oil can I use?

You could regrease it yourself using any plastic friendly grease. General opinion is that there's no reason to use anything else other than Nyogel 767A or heavier.

I used the Nyogel PG-44A to regrease---much heavier dampening than the 767-A and to me the closest dampening effect to the OEM grease.
