Hi i am trying to use the ng software for it's better Axis to button control on my new Gunfighter mk3 but i can not for the life of me get the twist to function at all i know im doing something incorrectly here but im not 100% sure as to what some help would be greatly appreciate i know it is a long shot as this firmware is in beta and not officially supported yet

I think something is not correct in the 1st and second slides but im not 100% confident

Slide1 from your first post - set Axis#8 as V_Mars and its number to 7. Press Set.

Ok i have done that i originally thought that was the issue so i tried it again and it still is not working its weird i had no issues setting it up properly with the SCG-L grip but this one is being a pain maybe ill just go back to the normal non ng firmware till the NG is more fleshed out for the MCG U is there possibly a way to make the normal one do what i want i would like the both edges of my Y axis to both fire my vertical and downward thrusters and apply afterburners in that direction

Update i also tried 2 other versions of the _BlackBox_MK2_GF_MCG_ULT_w_Twist_v2_04_5 NG.vkb and the _BlackBox_MK2_GF_MCG_ULT_w_Twist_v2_04_3 NG .vkb all with pretty much the same effect

You've only done half the job.
It is also necessary in the Global-External-Ph.Axes tab in the Input column for the 7th axis to change the sensor type from D-Mars to V-Mars and calibrate.
