Hi Guys,

I've replaced both of my mini-sticks with hats (see photo).

The top hat works fine for all 5 buttons.

The left hat (Gate Cont) only triggers the centre push button. Left/right/up/down triggers no buttons.
When I look at the axis test screen, the grip is sending axis signals even though its a hat switch and there are no longer any mini-sticks installed.

I have switched both hats to isolate the problem and both hats work in the top position, neither hat works in the left(gate-cont) position. Therefore unfortunately the problem is with the grip or controller

VKBDevCfg: 0.91.89
Firmware: _BlackBox_MK2_GF_MCG_Ultimate_v2_04_4

Things I've already tried:
-switching the hats
-Re-flashed firmware
-Default settings
-Re-calibrated
-Tightening screws
-Enabling/disabling POVs

Is there a way we can force the software to know that a hat is installed and not look for a mini-stick?
Or can I get a firmware fix that forces it to use hat buttons instead of mini-stick?

Looks like you're on beta version of both fm and sw. Try other pair, or the stable versions.

Actually stable versions were already tried too.

I only updated to beta hoping it would fix the issue..

Unfortunately all versions of firmware I've tested have the same issue so far.

Then it sounds like hardware issue, please fill up a service ticket.

In Australia, so I've messaged the AliExpress seller.
Hope they can fix it by firmware... prefer not to send the whole grip back.
