I have given the joystick a firmware update to _BlackBox_MK2_GF_MCG_PRO_Twist_v2_02_5.vkb as requested by instructions only to find that it is completely unusable. no buttons detected no z axis, only x and y. I have a left handed stick and rudder pedals that all work fine as I did not update out of fear of this breaking them too. Is there any possible way to rollback the firmware update? almost to the point where i just want to return it and save myself the headache.

Be so kind as to frame your question according to these rules.

1. MCG Pro MK.III Twist blackbox.
2. w/ v2.025 firmware
3. default no changes. my issue is with software not the physical parts.

I get an Error 0 when flashing firmware. The only functioning thing on the joystick is the y and x axis. Z-rot and buttons are all missing function.

With the configurator running and the Test-External Devices tab open, slightly loosen the screw of the fixing nuts, gently turn the knob until contact appears.
This can be understood by changing the red scale to green. As soon as this happens, we fix the grip MCG with a screw.
If the contact does not appear, we check the spring contacts for integrity and movement. We wipe the contact pad with alcohol.
