Mini stick going from one side of axis to the other side of axis

I have a VKB GF Mk 3. I am trying to set up my analog mini stick to be a throttle, so I can control the speed as I press up and back. Well when I press up slightly I go forward, but when I press up all the way I go backwards. IN VKB Device Config I noticed that my Rot X axis goes from from the left side about half way up, the when I press all the way up it goes to the right side. Same thing when I press backwards. How do I fix this?
