Fast red blinking light on a Gladiator-K

I'm currently getting a fast flashing red LED on my Gladiator-K. I'm not sure if this is because I tried swapping out the right-handed SCG with a left-handed one without flashing the left-handed firmware. I've flashed the firmware now, reset settings to default and calibrated the axes, but I'm still getting the fast flashing red light. I've also tried reinstalling the right-handed grip and flashing the right-handed firmware and I still get the fast red flashing led. I've also verified that both grips work on a Gladiator NXT just fine but none of them work on the Gladiator-K. I checked the LED configuration for the fast flashing red LED and this looks like a "Bus Error."

I've attached 2 screenshots from VKB Device Config. I hope this is just a wrong setting somewhere. I've also tried the right and left handed firmware version 2.02.52 initially and that didn't work. I downgraded back to the firmware version that was installed when the Gladiator-K last worked (1.99.63). None of them solved the fast flashing red LED problem.

The latest software might run into issues if you use that old firmware. Get the latest for both software and firmware, flash it with the right software, reset to default (don't skip this step) and calibrate, following the official guide. Before that make sure the grip is properly connected on the base.

I did try the latest firmware already and that didn't fix the issue. I'll go ahead and upgrade it back to the latest version anyway though. I just downgraded to make sure it wasn't just the firmware. I checked all the connections for the grip up to the base and everything looks ok.

I got a multimeter and started testing the wiring. I managed to find the problem. The red wire on the adapter connecting the grip to the base lost connection to the pins that connect to contacts on the base when the grip is installed. I think I may have tugged on the wire too hard.
