Gladiator GNX Premium - Rotary Encoder issue?

Hello,
I just purchased a Gladiator Premium that I use for IL-2 (WWII flight sim) and I don't know if I have an issue with one of the Rotary Encoders on the base of the joystick: in the case of the left-hand encoder, if I assign something to it, for instance the propeller's RPMs, I just need to rotate it a tiny bit to have a change in the RPMs, however, if I assign the same RPMs to the right-hand encoder , I have to rotate it around a quarter of a turn to get the same change in RPMs. Any ideas on the reason for this behaviour on the right-hand encoder?

Thanks.

Show the Profile-Buttons tab from the configurator.

Try to select different detents number.

PS
Have you tried to configure encoders as axes? It's very usable.

Hello,
I tried your detents suggestion but the problem is that I was assigning to the encoder variables that do not seem to work well with it. As you suggested, I assigned an axis variable to it (elevator trimmer) and it is working fine now.

Thank you for the help.
