on Star Citizen,
sometimes I roll with the Z-axis, and the ship gets stuck on constant roll.
I think it only happens on twisting the stick left, I don't remember it happening twisting right.
only way I can stop it is go to the calibration screen and press "Default".

Re: SCG-L Z-axis drifts randomly
It could be because the axis is not calibrated or it has a too narrow deadzone. Please post a screenshot with Profile/Axes/Logical axes.

Re: SCG-L Z-axis drifts randomly
I've tried for both sricks. got errors and the software didnt recognized them so I reverted back to this version.
but I will try again with these guides thank you, I hope there's something new the regular guide didn't include

Re: SCG-L Z-axis drifts randomly
I have the exact same problem with my SCG Pro I got in December: the roll axis randomly gets stuck in StarCitizen and the stick is completely unresponsive. Happened 4 times till now.
I can fix this by unplug and replug the blackbox.
The firmware was updated to the current 2.00.7 right after I got the stick.
Is there already an analysis and / or solution for this problem?

Re: SCG-L Z-axis drifts randomly
I tried recalibrating and flashing the stick again. During calibration, I saw the blue LED of the stick went white when reaching the bottom left and right extreme positions. The 200mm extrension I am using might not have be tightened enough and caused this isssue and mybe as well the stuck z rotation.
I will give feedback if tightening the screw did not fix it for me.

Re: SCG-L Z-axis drifts randomly
If it happens again remove the extension and see if it happens without it. But hopefully it was just a loose connector.
Re: SCG-L Z-axis drifts randomly
after successfully updating the software, the problem has gone for a while.
now it's back and the z-axis is locked to the left, usually happens after a a fast twisting.

Re: SCG-L Z-axis drifts randomly
not sure what is the difference, all I can say is sometimes when I twist left, the sensor thinks the it's still twisted even after the grip has returned to the middle.
on the software it's fixed easily by calibrating, or even pressing "start clibr" followed by "end calibr" without calibrating. but it keeps returning randomly again and again.
Edit: I should add the whole grip loses calibration, and the game won't recognize further input from this stick. the game only thinks I twist left.
Edit: tightened every screw, recalibrated & restarted the pc. so far everything is smooth, if it returns I will report here again. I wanna make sure it wasn't a lose screw causing this.

Re: SCG-L Z-axis drifts randomly
I was asking if there's only the twist not working or the whole grip, but you already responded to that on the first Edit.
Please fill up a service ticket with a link to this thread; you'll need a new cable.

so far so good, might have been the screw which holds the stick to the base.
if it returns i'll open a ticket. thx
