Help with Gladiator NXT firmware

When following the set up directions, the device config app doesn't have any buttons besides the bootloader under tools. There are no default or config buttons. Also, the stick is detected as HID-compliant vendor-defined device, which is different than what my friend says his is detected as. When I followed the directions for set up, the bootloader seems to load the firmware correctly up until the point I can't follow the directions because things are missing from the config app. Any suggestions why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?

Show a screenshot of the Global, Profile-Buttons configurator tabs. And also the folder from where the configurator itself starts.

I'm not sure what you mean by Global, Profile-Buttons configurator tabs as the only tabs I have are action, tools, and settings.

I see a device ready for firmware (00.56). Now run Zbootloader.exe and if there are two conditions 1 and 2 (in the picture), you need to go 3 to the folder with the firmware (you see 2.007), select for GNXT and flash 4.

It seemed to flash correctly, with the blue light coming on. Then the bootloader closes when it finishes and the stick disconnects.

Can you record the video as you flash it and then what happens with the controller?

Now reconnect the joystick to a different USB port. By the way, I recommend using the USB 2.0 port (black).
In modern motherboards, they were left only in the place where PS/2 for keyboard and mouse used to be.
What is visible in the configurator after that?

The configurator is the same, only the bootloader as an option, no default button or anything else. Detected the same as last time as well.

If we take the most extreme 0.91.61?
Just unpack it into a separate folder not on the desktop, but on another disk (preferably) and without the zconfig.ini file. It will appear there after the first launch.

Watch this video old, do not look at the file version.

Yes, I assume from top to bottom, the files are the firmware for the specific device, idk what the 2nd one is, an older config app like one I unzip, and then just the normal bootloader?

I think I understand the rest of the video, but I'm unsure about the files they start with. Also, there is no button for expert mode in my settings tab in the config app.
