My name is Ahmet Memišević and I study mechatronics engineering at the University of Southern Denmark and currently on my 5th semester.
I am currently working on a project to develop a joystick based on the gimbal mechanism.

The reason I am contacting you is to ask for advice and expertise regarding the design of cams.
More specifically I am interested in the following:
- Calculation of spring constant with relation to the size and curvature of the cam
The relation between the cam and the maximum achievable angle of the stick
Defining the distance between the cams i.e. spring pretension and angle
