Greetings,

I've been very happy with my two VKB Gunfighter MkIIIs (SCG) every since getting them a few months ago. Unfortunately, as I use Linux, they are less convenient to set up. This is fine, and I was aware of this before buying them. As I don't have access to a Windows install, I did my initial calibration and configuration through a VM, but I planned to make an open source configuration utility for Linux users at some point. I have some experience creating tools like this.

What I could use help with: if VKB could release information regarding the USB protocol that the hardware uses, how profiles are structured, etc., it would allow me to make something useful much faster, without having to reverse engineer it.

I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. If this is possible, please let me know!
