I have UCM Combo-Pilot C which is the UCM-L GF and UCM-S WT coming in and I was wondering if the Mounting place can be replaced with another. Do you sell them separately coz I decided that I wont get a Warthog throttle and just wait for the VKB throttle next year and just went to a TWCS throttle. After being amazed with the quality of the VKB products (GF3-MCG and T-rudder) I went to get another stick for my offhand the Gladiator NXT with Kosmosima grip, so i was wondering if I could just use the UCM-S WT as a mount for my GNXT-SC(DIY to fit GNXT mounting with WT mounting plate) or if possible purchase a separate GL mounting plate only and replace the mounting WT plate? I purchased mine off Aliexpress since im in Asia. Superb delivery btw less than a week.

Second question would be I have the extra WT mounting plate is it possible to attach it to a already complete UCM-S GL instead of buying both UCM-GL and UCM-WT?(see attached image).



And lastly, you have your NXT THQ modules coming up how will it be supported if your GNXT is mounted on a UCM?

Fully compatible

I mean to attach on the side so that you have the NXT mount as main mount and the WT plate to cantilever on the side. So you'll have both mount plate at the same time.

OK, I get it. No, I don't recommend it. The plate will bend. You can certainly try it, you may be satisfied with this option.

Are the plates that thin that it will bend? Im still waiting for my UCM, probably tomorrow they will arrive. But if ever it could be mounted like that then it could be well the support for the NXT THQ quadrant that I plan to add to my GNXT.

And another thing to consider - the joystick might hit the throttle on lateral deflection if you'll install it that close.

ok ive decided to put the throttle behind the offhand stick. Even worse, but is this even possible. Im thinking maybe Rods or hollow sections to support it and I dont have the dimensions or weight for the VKB throttle that will be released soon so it should be sturdy enough to carry at least same weight as TM WH throttle.

I don't know what to say. This option was not considered

Its seems doable,. I just hope VKB has more options with their UCM Stronghold for HOSASAT setups...
