Hi there!
I'm a newbie here. I just picked up the Glad Mk.II for IL-2 FC and I have been a bit confused on how to do a firmware upgrade.
I think I figured out that I need the Gladiator v1_99_A file.
I then downloaded the Wizzo app, and the zbootloader-C with the instructions.
When I go (in wizzo) to ADVANCED and then click BOOTLOADER, it disconnects my joystick. The lights on it go dark and then it tells me, "no joystick detected, we will now shut down." It then forces me to close wizzo. This forces me to replug the joystick.
I haven't been able to get past this step for this reason.
Does anyone know why this happens, and could anyone give me a little post-step guidance, please so I know I'm on the right track?
Thank you so much!
Cheers!

Re: Upgrading Firmware for Gladiator Mk.II via Wizzo
Hi! You could follow this guide to flash and calibrate your device. It's actually for Gladiator K, but it's all the same except of the ministick of the grip.

Hi Fallout9!
Thank you for the quick reply/help. With that said, I have done per that video and it updated without any issue. For the calibration part, do I just ignore the ministick step and verify that my POV works on the buttons tab? Thanks again!
EDIT: One last thing, do you have a video or text where I can work on making my MODE button work to give me the extra set of buttons? Right now, switching mode still makes buttons 4-12 the same after selecting the different MODE. Thanks again!
EDIT #2: Is the MODE button only supposed to change the grip buttons or also the base? The grip works fine when I press MODE and I get the second set of commands, but the base does not. I just want to make sure I'm understanding the operation of the product. Thanks!

Re: Upgrading Firmware for Gladiator Mk.II via Wizzo
For the calibration part you'll have to move the mini-throttle on the base, pitch, roll and yaw on the stick. No need to do anything with the hat switch.
By default the Mode button is affecting only the buttons on the grip, same with the pinkie button. If you don't like it this way you could make your own profile.
I've attached a profile with the Mode button affecting the buttons on both the grip and base (set1) and the pinkie doing the same (set2). Problem with this profile is that there are too many buttons for some games, so they might not get recognized. But at least you could use is as an example to create your own, customized profile.
