Hi - I have the F14 stick on a gunfighter 3 base and love the functionality of the stick with the HB F14 in DCS. I have been using it on the desktop while waiting for my Monstertech mounts to show up so I can mount it to the desk with the 200 mm curved extension. To be accurate, I'm center-mounting it and want to rotate the grip about 15 degrees for proper ergonomics - but I don't see a way to do this?
I thought I could just remove the screw for the top fitting, drill a new hole 15 degrees offset on the extension tube and then rotate the top fitting and re-affix it with a screw in the new hole. However, unlike the bottom fixture which easily drops out when the 2 screws are removed, i can't get the top fitting to budge? Is there any way to loosen this so I can rotate it on the center-mounted 200 mm curved extension? Or can I buy one with the top fitting offset or one without the top fitting attached so I can install it offset myself? I'm open to any other ideas as well
It's a great stick, but disappointing that I'm not able to set it up properly - as it's a replica stick and and the real F14 the stick was center mounted, it's frustrating to not be able to get the correct ergonomics/placement to be correct.
Help needed on F14 stick with 200 mm curved extension
