Hi all,
I have a problem with the roll axis of my Gunfighter base. There is an insane amount of noise when I move it to the left.
How do I upload a video? Dont think I can capture it in pictures.
Cheers.

Download VKBjoytester http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Programms/VKB_JoyTester.zip
Launch it and make screenshot while moving axes.
Also please look here viewtopic.php?f=25&t=2762. Show screenshots of VKBDevcfg tabs.

Try to update both firmware and software, reset to default and recalibrate.

Re: Gunfighter + TMW roll axis problem
Update: the problem is back. It doesn't matter how often I recalibrate the stick or flash it with new firmware, the problem always returns at some point.
This just adds to multiple problems I've had with this stick, which also still has problems with phantom button presses (which I've asked about in another topic) and the brake lever occasionally activating without any input from me.
So, at this point, I can only conclude that I have some sort of hardware issue with either the gimbal, the grip, or both.

Re: Gunfighter + TMW roll axis problem
You have the base for long time, right? Is it a MKI or early MKII? Have you checked the wires inside the base? Unplug the white connectors, plug them back firmly. Also take the PCB out and inspect the magnets on the base, make sure there's no metal shards attached to them.
Other things to try: clean up with alcohol the 3 contact pads on the base stem (or bottom of the grip if you have a RevA system) and check the 3 pins to see if they look healthy and leveled.
When it start doing like this open VKBDevCfg, navigate to Test/External Devices, click on your grip and base and check the Communication Error Level - is it a straight green line? Green blocks? Red blocks?

Re: Gunfighter + TMW roll axis problem
It's a Gunfighter MkII, purchased back sometime around 2018.
I've checked the wires inside the base, and all looks good. No metal shards to be seen.
Except for a very small blip with the base, the Communication Error Level returned a flat green line.
