SCG Premium-R - install HAT-switch to replace A1-ministick

Hi, I'm very new to VKB products having just received a VKB-Sim Gladiator K SCG Premium-R. The build quality and functionality of the stick is excellent. Very pleased I bought this stick.
OK .... I want to replace the A1 mini-stick with the included replacement HAT-switch but I'm a bit wary to do it without written or video instructions + a schematic. Can someone provide links or instructions please.
Also included with the SCG is a packet containing another circuit board & button with label as follows: SCG-R-P, D1 Button. What is this for as the D1 is already a button. It would be useful if I could replace C1 HAT with this button. Would be grateful for some clarification + any instructions for changing if relevant.
