Hello,

So some time ago I tried to update the firmware on my pedals and screwed up, making the pedals useless. Any way to fix this or do I need a new controlbox?

Will definitely need more details about this. Some screenshots with the configurator would help too.

Sure thing, I got to find all the cables. A question though, mine has the tinybox, is the MKIII capable of moving over to the blackbox, or is that a IV thing only?

Find the cables, plug it in and post some screenshots in VKBDevCfg, I'm sure we'll make it work.
If you'd decide to upgrade to a Black Box then yes, that's possible too.

You're using a wrong combination of old firmware with new software.
Download the new Bootloader and the firmware package.
Put them all in the same folder and unzip the firmware package.
Open the VKBDevCfg and click on the Tools tab, then press the Bootloader button. When the new window open choose the file called _TinyBox_v1_99_6.vkb and flash it.
After the Bootloader is done open again the VKBDevCfg and calibrate.

Try to change USB ports and also try to kill some background running software like Logitech, Razer, Aorus.

No dice, just won't recognize it, my only thought is I Don't have the USB cord it came with anymore, I am just using a generic USB 2.0, maybe it doesn't like it.

Got it, I had to break down the box and do a boot, now I Was able to flash it.

Per my earlier question since I know I can go to the black box if I Wish, what advantage (if any) would that give me over the tiny box?

Glad to hear you've got it fixed. I don't think you'd get too many advantages to upgrade; the new BB is a new system, faster and with more connectors, but if you don't have a second VKB device to connect them both through the same BB I don't see why why you'd upgrade it.
