Gladiator K Twist Axis Problem

Postby Madness » Sat Jul 04, 2020 19:17

Hi,

I recently purchased a VKB Gladiator K R (non-pro) and the twist axis is giving me some issues. Without any reason I have yet found out it will cause a constant right-hand rudder input when flying around, this is not constant but rather "sets on" randomly during flight (I fly in DCS), the only way to solve this is to unplug the device and then plug it in again, this is very irritating when flying. I have tried multiple USB ports on my PC with no results. I have also re-calibrated my device following youtube guides to no avail.

Any chance you could send some help my way?

Try to release a but the grip fastener, if it's too tight it might not allow the grip to return to center properly when twisting.
Also post a screenshot with Profile/ Axes.

Fiddled a bit with the grip fastener and the problem seems to have disappeared, ill continue to test and report if it comes back. Thanks for the help!

Ok, it seems to have come back yet again. Managed to bring up the axis page of the VKB software while this was happening. As you can see the Rot Z axis is completely forced over to one side and despite moving the stick I am unable to change this.

Before filling up a ticket just try to seat the grip again on the base, eventually clean up the contact pads with some alcohol and cotton.
