Thrustmaster-feel Cam and Spring Combination Question
Hi everyone, today I received my LEFT and RIGHT Kosmosimo grips + bases, MKIII. I also have the space cams. I have a question: I have a Thrustmaster warthog F16 grip and base. I LOVE the feel of the Thrustmaster base. What spring/cams selection would I need to replicate as much as possible the feel of the Thrustmaster? Thank you

Re: Thrustmaster-feel Cam and Spring Combination Question
They're different systems, the Warthog base and the GunFighter base. First one is a 10 years old piece of equipment with too strong springs for a smooth flight, no axis separation and a huge breakout force which prevents fine movement or aim. On the other side there's the GunFighter base which is already on the 3rd major revision, with new sets of cams, springs, electronics, case and boot. Ideally you'd want to keep away from whatever the Warthog base impregnated your muscle memory with, but if you want to make a soft transition then you should start with 2 #40 springs per cam and Space-S cams. Install the springs back to back on the pins so they won't bite into each other and use the sleeves.

Thank you, for both pieces of feedback. I will take your recommendation of a 'transition step'. Cheers,
