Gunfighter mk. III to joystick wires

I bought a gunfighter mk. III space combat edition and after using it for a few weeks, one of the wires connecting the joystick to the base (the red one) had been cut by something. Is there any way that I can get a replacement cable, or find out what kind of connectors it uses so I can buy my own?
