Kosmosima raising from base (Fixation problem)

Postby Nikopol » Wed May 27, 2020 14:39

Hello there!

I'm a proud owner of Left Handed Kosmosima standard on GUnfighter III base since one week.

I encounter a annoying problem which is killing the fun.

As I play Star Citizen, Dogfighting hard, the Kosmosima regularly disconnects from the base (Red flashing light on the black box) due (I think) because of the fixation system of the stick to base, letting the stick loose. When I push the stick to the base, the Blue led appear again. I did tighten the screw a lot, but I do have still the problem often.

Is there a way to fix this, do I need to tighten more? (I was cautious till now but already apply some force on the tightening)

Thx in advance for your answers.

There's a metal pin on the top of the base shaft and a hole on the bottom of the grip. Mount the grip on the base and make sure the pin is all the way in the hole and there's no gap between the metal shaft of the base and the bottom of the grip. Insert the threaded half of the locking cylinder on the left side making sure it's all the way in, with the cutout facing the base shaft. Insert the other half of the locking cylinder on the right side the same way. Screw the 2 halfs together pressing gently on the grip when tightening up the screw. Check again if the locking cylinders are all in - at the end they should be completely inside the grip and not sticking out.

Thank You, Fallout for the answer. I'll redo all the procedure from the start
