VKB-SIM

Was wondering if I could use the gunfighter base with only an extension applied to it? Would it damage the unit at all? Would it function as just a joystick? I was hoping to use it as an E-Brake in a racing sim and having a grip on it would be awkward, but I have a 200mm extension and that would fit perfectly next to my racing wheel. Was gonna try it out, but I figured i'd investigate before I accidentally screwed something up.

Only 2 aixs of base work. And you need to cover the upper contact to avoid short circuit.
