Hi,
I'm having trouble flashing my GF MCG PRO with the NEW blacbox (black) to the latest 1.98F firmware.
I do all the instructions as the video suggests but as soon as I press the FLASH button I get CRC error:
Flash CRC error msg.jpg

I start the configurator as an Admin and I even tried to press the Default before Flashing.
But nothing works. It is like the PCB is write protected somehow...

I noticed there's another firmware file without the "PRO" in its title, maybe I should try flashing this one?
Here is a photo of my MCG PRO center mounted with extension:

Flashed it on my wife's Laptop.. IT WORKED !!! :D

Afterwards I deleted the USB device from my PC and re-connected it.
Did the calibration.
Reloaded my Profile.

And now everything works OK.

I don't own a second computer. My black box woke up this morning with a steady blue light and flashing red light.
Config external devices show correct grip and base. Base is green and the grip is red.

Did you upload the correct firmware for your grip?
If this is not the case, then you need to look at the contact of the grip and base.
