GLADIATOR MK.II Windows 10 detection problem

Hello,

I encounter a Joystick recognition problem under Windows 10. I have to plug then unplug and plug again for the joystick to be recognized.
If I don't do this operation, Windows detects a USB device "VKB BOOT NJOY32 PLATFORM" but not a controller device and the front leds of the Gladiator don't light up.

When I launch VKB Device Config, the software also detect VKB BOOT NJOY32 PLATFORM and if I click on the RESTART DEVICE button, the joystick is finally detected as a controller device (leds are ON).

It looks like that the joystick always boot by default on a debug/flash mode.

How can I solve this issue ? Is there an option in VKB Device Config that needs to be changed/disabled ?

Thank for your help.

The joystick needs to get properly flashed and calibrated. Follow the procedures from this video: https://youtu.be/fU4CbKhGm_w. It's for another device, but there are basically the same steps. When it comes to choosing the firmware flash the file called "_Gladiator_v1_98_F.vkb". When it comes to calibrate your axes, calibrate your pitch, roll, twist and throttle.

Anyone ?

EDIT : I have flashed again, with an older firmware then the last one and same problem. The joy always start on the bootloader. If I hit RESET in ZBootloader-C, the joy work normally.

Looks like something is interfering with your joystick, maybe some software running in the background. Try this:
- set both VKBDevCfg and zBootloader to run as Admin;
- if it still not working, restart the computer in Safe mode and try again. Do not load any additional software, just Windows.

After flashing, try just reconnecting the USB cable. Without starting the configurator.

Show where the firmware file is. You can try to flash a newer one and not from under the configurator. And using only Zbootloader.

Let's try this:
1.run Zbootloader.exe
2. on the joystick disconnected from the USB, close 2 pins of the “Boot” (marked in the picture)
3. without removing the jumper, connect the cable to USB
4. remove the jumper and at this moment in the flasher the green indicator should light up and the inscription will change to Boot device: detected-OK
5. select the file and flash it.
After flashing, reconnect the USB cable.
