MCG Pro buttons not registering.

MCG Pro buttons not registering.
I recently started using the Gunfighter with MCG Pro, but I'm having difficulties with the 5 way hat that activates buttons 19-23. In the VKB Device Configuration software, it shows button 19 and 22 active when I push the button in. Additionally, it shows 19 & 22 when pushed forward, 19 when pushed down, 19 & 22 when pushed backwards, and nothing when pushed up. I am unable to activate buttons 20, 21, or 23 no matter which way I move the 5-way hat. I have tried re-flashing the software, but that hasn't had an effect on the 5-way hat. Anybody have an idea on how to fix this?

Re: MCG Pro buttons not registering.
Have you pressed the Default button after flashing and before calibrating?
Could you post sreenshots with Global/Common and Global/External?

I have tried using the default button and I didn't see a change. Attached are the screenshots of Common and External.

Down= Line 1/Re#2 on some presses, and Line 3/Reg#2 on other presses (consecutively pushing the button straight down), but never both at the same time.

Re: MCG Pro buttons not registering.
All other hats and buttons are working properly. It appears to me that it is a hardware problem rather than a software problem, but when I contacted the VKB support, they directed me here?
Re: MCG Pro buttons not registering.
My apologies, Ron61, I’m new to this so the configuration software is all Greek to me. If you are referring to checking the pull box, I did that as well with the same results. See attached screen shot. If I’m missing something else that I’m simply not picking up on, please let me know.

Re: MCG Pro buttons not registering.
In the screenshot we will not see the response of all 5 positions of the HAT. You must either tell us what you see with the Poll checkbox active and the HAT move. Or record a video of this process. Ideally, red squares should light up in all 5 positions.

So, is there anything else I should try before finalizing that this is a hardware issue?

Re: MCG Pro buttons not registering.
When you press the center button, do you hear the sound of actuation and release?
Go to the Test-Buttons tab, activate the Log Joystick check box and move the HAT to all four positions and at the end click on the center. Show a screenshot from the configurator of this process.
Post your profile here so that we can try it.
Show a photo of the grip with the right half removed.

Yes, there is an audible & tactile click when I push the hat in. As for the test of buttons, it only registered pushing forward, down, and depressing the button in. It didn't register aft or up, although I didn't continually move the stick in that direction until I got a readout as I had in previous test (see results from multiple presses above).

Well, where's the profile file? Click the Save button and write it under a friendly name. And attach this file to the message. It may need to be archived. It is advisable to do this after updating the firmware. Everything extreme lies here. And a photo of the main board of the grip (not the head), make it larger. Thank you for understanding.
Take a large, clear photo of 2 resistors on the side board. To read the markings.
