Hello, fellow sim fans!
Just had GUNFIGHTER mkiii MCG PRO delivered yesterday, from the latest batch, and after fiddling with it for a while I can't get to the core of the issue of sensitivity/responsiveness near the center. The joystick is hollow in the center and I'd love to know how to change that if possible. Coming from x52pro I am used to even millimeter of movement of my hand translate to substantial force in the stick of my ED spaceship with precision along the entire length of both main axis without FA off. FA off is ultra sensitive flight mode in case you are wondering. But in gunfighter default settings the center is.. "empty". I fiddled with cams and springs and clutch thingy, but none of that penetrates to the core of issue. The software is crazy complicated, I don't mean it as a bad thing, just.. could use your advice, please wave me in the right direction.
With respect
How to make joystick responsive near center?

Hi Kay,
By 'hollow' you mean you could move the grip around the center without the device registering any movement?
Could you post a screenshot in VKBDevCfg, with Profile/ Axes/ Logical Axes visible? Also what cams, what springs and how tightened are your dry clutches?

Re: How to make joystick responsive near center?
hi,
i also just bought a mk3 with the space grip pro and play e:d. mine is really sensitiv. very little movement of the stick and it reacts. i even had to increase the deadzones because it would react even with the smallest joystick movement.
have you calibrated it at first before using it?
is there absolute zero response when you move the stick a little?

Well, then something seems wrong with your Settings?
I use a Plastic Bag as Dust Cover, when the Joystick is not in use. When I slightly touch the outer Foil, this is already registered by the Sensors.
Same on the Gladiator MK. II, which I have regreased completly - but still not that smooth as the Gunfighter Gimbal.
