I'm a bit annoyed as I never encountered this problem, so sorry if the answer is out there but I searched and couldn't find.

I just bought a MCG pro + Z Twist adapter that I have received today, the mcg twist module assembly video was super clear, thank you very much for that, and now I'm working on updating firmwares.

Long story short : I initialy bought a Gunfighter MK2 with a MCG RU (because there were no "pro" avaiables), but wanting to play space sim I bought the Kosmosima when it went out, but I found out I loved the MCG much more and then when the twist came in retail, I bought it with a MCG pro.

So, I have a Gunfighter, it had a kosmosima previously, I put the twist adapter, put the stick in place on my Gunfighter and now updating the blackbox (wich is orange btw ).
I went on the ftp, took the latest mcg firmware I could find wich is v1_95_B_MCG and updated : no pb.

BUT

I found the very new all devices firmware pack wich include version v1_98_1 !
Holly cow .. that's way more recent than what I found on the ftp, and here come my problem :


BlackBox & BlackBox_MK2 ?
Wich one do I have ?

And here is my problem, I don't find anywhere my BB version so wich firmware should I push into my BB ?

So the orange is MK1 and the new mk2 is black, allright, thank you !! you saved my day

What are the differences between the two in terms of hardware? Should I order a MK2 BlackBox or is there no benefit over my existing MK1?

Aside from the obvious housing differences, I asked this question and was told that the new Mark II Black Box has a slightly higher current capacity to eventually support multiple devices plugged into it. Otherwise no real effective functional changes.
