Black box Lights

I just received my GF Mk3. When I first plugged it in and got it set up, the blue system light was on, and I could have sworn one of the 3 LEDs on the right side of the BB was green. However, now it’s just the blue system light on. And the 3 LEDS labeled: 1 2 and 3 are dark. Is this how it is supposed to be?

It is difficult to judge that does not work on this meager information. Please read

It’s a GF MK3 with the black blackbox. Firmware is 1.975, the one it shipped with. My question is, under normal operations, what lights should I see on the blackbox? Just the blue system light? Should any of the green LEDs on the right side be illuminated?

Have you been playing with the LEDs in VKBDevCfg?

Open VKBDevCfg, hit the Default button and see if the LED is back on.

I haven’t touched any settings for LEDs. But I still went ahead and reset it to default like you suggested. And the green LED labeled 2 came on. After I re calibrated and loaded a profile, the LED went away. I just would like to know what the LEDs mean

LED lights depend of settings.

Detailed description of LED parameters is in User Guide (link in the bottom).

If the light disappears when you load your profile it means that you saved that profile with no light. Check the manual for LED programming:

See that’s the thing, I know for 100% I didn’t change any LED settings. I just got the stick yesterday and have no idea how to even do that. All I have done with it was: hook it up and calibrate, save the original profile, and create a different profile with the brake axis set to be a button. I haven’t messed with any other settings

Maybe you were scrolling the mouse while hovering over the LED tab or something like this... they definitely don't change by themselves. But now you know how to fix it in case you'll get this again.
Play with the LEDs, it's very helpful to have them indicating by turning on or changing colors when you change Shift, press a button, activate a HAT etc.
