MCG brake axis wont callibrate

Postby yojimbosc » Wed Jan 01, 2020 6:02

I have an issue where i cannot use 100% of the brake axis on my mcg. It reaches about 53k out of 65535. I have tried moving in the edge deadzone with wizzo gf and just running callibration with both devcfg-c and wizzo gf and the axis still never reaches its maximum. Any advice on how i could manually adjust the edge in devcfg-c

Uhm, check the response curve of that axis. If even a high deadzone doesn't solve the issue then I think the problem is that the response curve have a "Saturation Y" that doesn't go up to 100%. Exemple here :

I actually found my solution after about an hour of trying various options for axis #8. Without any understanding of what the options actually mean I found these settings offered the correct range for the brake.

Looks like your brake axis is not calibrated. When you're calibrating your MCG Pro you should include the secondary trigger and the brake lever - they are both axes.
