Need Help Please! Rudder Axes Dead after firmware update

Hi,
I updated my MKIV Pedals to V1.98.1 firmware and now neither the VKB Configuration software nor Windows see any Axis movement when I operate the pedals.
I run T-Link for braking function with a Profile of 1.81.6 loaded in my "Black Box".
Windows, T-Link, VKB Bootloader and VKB Configuration software all see the pedals connected and my Black Box has a Blue status light with the 1.98 firmware and the 1.81.6 profile loaded.

The pedals with T-Link were operating fine before the firmware upgrade.

This was the first firmware upgrade since the initial installation of the pedals.

What could be the problem causing the pedal axis to not function?

EDIT: I went back to the V1.86 firmware and related T-Link profile and the rudder axis is working again. I did change the CAT5 cable that connects the pedals and tested with no luck before reverting back to V1.86. Apparently V1.98 firmware does not work with the MKIV pedals.
