Hi!
Situation: Gunfighter mk2, unpleasant travel of the stick (I felt the base click), opened up, nut in the picture became loose (almost unscrewed itself)
Screwing it back down removes the unpleasant travel.
Opposite side looks OK.
50 springs, 30 cams.
Recommendations?
Is the base mk3 going to be free of this issue?
Attachment is a picture from inside my stick (after tightening), it's a close up of bottom right from:

Re: Gunfighter mk2, screw in base coming loose
Depending on how often you're using your base, how strong the springs you prefer, using an extension or not, I would recommend taking the case off every few months/ up to a year and check if everything is alright inside: bearings running smoothly, cams aligned on the top of bearing on their whole range, no rust, all screws tightened, no cables getting into moving mechanism.
If you tighten that nut good it shouldn't happen again; all those 4 screws connecting the top plate to the cams unit have to be really tight because they're dealing with lots of tension. Looking at the history of technical issues reported here this is not a very common problem.
