Where is the BOOT jumper?

Postby gbadzic » Sun Nov 24, 2019 22:25

I have a Gunfighter with MCG PRO . Recently I've been experiencing a very annoying problem where the VKB produces a random button presses as I move the joystick around. Well, I decided it was the time to flesh the new firmware. However, neither ZBootloader-C (latest version) nor Z-Bootloader can see the Blackbox. Going through the NJoy32 Family Controllers Configuration Utility User Guide, i ran across the chapter about Firmware updates, where a Boot jumper is mentioned.

When I opened my Blackbox (on both sides) I was not able to locate the boot jumper? I then opened the Gunfighter base, and there was no boot jumper there either.

So the question is, where should the boot jumper be, in the Blackbox or in the Gunfighter base?

Before a hard reset delete all VKB files and download the latest version of software and firmware. Put all the VKB files in the same, dedicated, directory and try again.

Iirc Drake highlighted the two pins in the bottom left of the first pick as the boot jumpers.

I had a similar issue and it ended up being solved by a different usb cable

I still have problem with random button presses as I move the stick around. I use to use a USB extension cord. After I removed the extension cord it seemed that the problem was reduced, however it is still happening. Nevertheless, I never tried to jump the Boot jumper yet. I wish somebody from the product support confirm location of the boot jumper as I asked in my post #1.
