T-Rudder IV Problem

Postby JGzbV » Wed Oct 23, 2019 13:26

Hi all,

i got my pedals 2 weeks ago and few days ago had the time to try them.
I think the first mistake i made was updating the firmware before checking the function.

It looks like the sensors dont work or wont get recognized. In best case the blackbox is blinking red with a glowing blue status led (sys).
I tried different firmwares (1.977, 1.97C,1.976,1.967, 1.94b, 1.852) and nothing seems to work. I even tried another PC with the same result. Windows recognizes the blackbox but doesnt get sensor input.

As with the Firmware i tried several Versions of VKBDevCFG (atm using the latest v0.90.77)

Reset the values to the factory settings with the Default button in the configurator. After that, calibrate (7 axis). Show screenshot Profile-Axes.

There is no connection between the BlackBox and the Mars pedal sensor, apparently. You can try using a cable from the printer (straight, not cross, full - all 8 conductors).

I tried 3 Different cat5/cat6 cables and also 3 different USB cables. Same result.

You can try reconnecting the sensor cable in the pedals themselves. Both of them. What the hell is not joking, but suddenly...

The sensors weren‘t connected. So connecting them fixed it.

That is, the loop from the sensor was not connected, if I understood correctly? How did they work before? :?:
English is not my native language, Google translator translates. Therefore, I can be mistaken.

they didn´t work before - i bought them, plugged them in and the troubleshooting started.
The Sensor cable wasn´t connected to the board with the rj-45 socket.

Even so :o ? But it’s good that they managed to fix everything without sending the pedals to the seller :) .
