Hi,

I tried to update my firmware on the blackbox that came with the rudder to make sure I can use the latest version of the config tool (0.90.67). After I flashed the device with "_BlackBox_TRudder_v1_97_7.vkb". But now the BB is showing sys red (though I read that's a non-issue) and the rudder led is blinking green. Needless to say the rudder is not working anymore. Does the rudder itself have a firmware I might need to update? Or is the firmware on the BB?

I also updated my MCG Pro - which I have on a separate BB - and it worked fine. When I plug the rudder into the MCG BB it doesn't work either.

Was your rudder working before update? Please show screenshot of Logical and physical tabs of axes parameters.

Yes, it did. Here's the axes.

I propose connecting the T-Rudder directly to the Blackbox Gunfighter with an available (complete) cable and calibrating all the axes after that. I.e.all 8 (even 9). And after that, show the screenshot in a new way.

Okay, I plugged the rudder now into the BB of the MCG Pro and recalibrated it. Here's the results.

Did you pedal left and right while calibrating?
To check the connection of the Mars sensor in pedals with BB, add lines, as in the screenshot, to the zconfig.ini file. It is located in the folder where the configurator starts.
And going to the Test-Misc tab, click on the green triangle. The same green square opposite the 7th axis should light up.
If this does not happen (or it is red), check the pedal cable. You can use a similar (all 8 cores) from the printer.

It lit up red at fist but I found a spare network cable that seems to work. Pedals are working again! Thanks alot guys, great work!

from what my little understanding is on these things, rudder uses [Axis Z]
In this forum post and in the one linked above by Victorus, both have this disabled for some reason.
